These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Digi Phone Book Android app, the website digiphonebook.com and related services (the “Services”). By creating an account, posting a listing or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. About the Services

Digi Phone Book is an online directory that lets people find local businesses and contact them directly, and lets businesses publish listings with their contact details, address, photos and map location. We are a listing platform only – we are not a party to any deal, service or transaction between customers and businesses.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
• You must give accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or are used for fraud or abuse.

3. Business listings

• You may only list a business that you own, manage or are authorised to represent.
• All information, photos and logos you submit must be true, current and lawful, and must not infringe anyone else's rights (including trademarks and copyright).
• Every listing is reviewed before publication. We may approve, reject, edit for formatting, ask for corrections, or remove any listing at our discretion – for example if it is misleading, duplicate, offensive or illegal.
• By submitting content you grant Digi Phone Book a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and promote it on the app, website, search engines and our marketing material for as long as the listing is live.
• A “Verified listing” label means our team reviewed the submitted details at the time of approval. It is not an endorsement or guarantee of the business, its products or services.

4. Fees and payments

• Searching and contacting businesses is free. Publishing a business listing requires a listing fee, shown in the app before you pay.
• Payments are processed by our payment partner Razorpay. By paying you also agree to Razorpay's terms. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Fees are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• We may change our fees at any time; changes will not affect listings already paid for.

5. Field team members

Staff and associates using the team panel are also bound by the terms of their engagement with Digi Phone Book, including rules on commissions, wallet recharges and KYC. Commission is credited only for listings that are approved.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful or illegal content;
• impersonate another person or business, or list a business without permission;
• use the directory to send spam, harass businesses, or collect contact details in bulk (scraping, crawling or automated copying);
• interfere with the security or operation of the Services, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours;
• use the Services for any unlawful purpose under Indian law.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Digi Phone Book name, logo, app, website design and software belong to Digi Phone Book and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from them without our written permission. Businesses retain ownership of the content they submit.

8. Disclaimers

• Listing information is provided by businesses and our team. While we review listings, we do not guarantee that every detail is accurate, complete or current.
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, pricing, legality or delivery of any product or service offered by a listed business. Please use your own judgement before dealing with any business.
• The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or any specific number of calls, leads or customers.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digi Phone Book will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or your dealings with any business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Digi Phone Book and its team harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your listing, your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Third-party services

The Services link to or use third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, Google Play and Razorpay. Their use is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Services and request deletion of your account at any time from the Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate access, or remove listings, if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mysuru, Karnataka. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
